Play Areas

The Council manages and maintains seven play areas in Goole. The Council takes its obligations in terms of health and safety very seriously and all sites are inspected by grounds maintenance on a weekly basis. All staff involved in play area inspections are fully trained and accredited. Play areas are also subject to a detailed annual inspection by a fully accredited external contractor.

Where immediate repairs are possible they are put in place quickly. Sometimes it is necessary to fence off areas temporarily until a more permanent solution can be delivered.
