Victoria Pleasure Grounds (VPG)

VPG is currently under re-development.

Development of a new, full-size, artificial 3G pitch; compact athletics track; a state-of-the-art, two-storey pavilion, providing modern changing facilities and a cafe, as well as a 160-seat conference and hospitality suite capable of hosting sporting and corporate events, wedding celebrations and other social gatherings. The new layout will also significantly increase on-site parking.

Progress Report 4th February 2025

The demolition team have commenced on site on Monday, starting with the demolition of the old snack bar and toilets and they are making good progress with the old stand.

Football

West Park – 1 adult and 6 junior football pitches
South Park – 2 adult and 1 junior football pitches
Kent Road – 1 adult pitch

All venues have changing facilities.

Hire charges are:

Adult pitch = £47
Junior pitch = £19.00

Conditions of booking:

Bookings must be made no later than 1.00pm on a Wednesday.
Changing room keys must be collected.
Keys must be returned by 9am Monday.
Any lost keys will incur a replacement cost.

Athletics

V.P.G. is home to Goole Athletics Club and who have training every Monday and Wednesday evening.

Bowls

The Council operates one bowling greens at West Park.
